SLOW DOWN!!!

I don't believe it... People will not Slow down! Even though the roads seem good, there have still been numerous motor vehicle accidents during the past few days. Why... just on Sunday, there was another poor soul killed due to the recklessness of a North Pole teen. I have supplied the Alaska State Trooper Report from their News Release page:
Location: Nenana
Case number: 05-24710
Type: MVA-Fatal
Text: On Sunday, April 3, 2005 at 1817 hours the Nenana Fire Department
reported a 2 vehicle collision on the Parks Highway at milepost 317, and
responded with their EMS personnel. A trooper from the Nenana Post, and
2 ABWE troopers and a sergeant responded from Fairbanks. Investigation
shows that a northbound 2002 Hyundai SUV driven by Kenneth Shad McKay,
age 18 of North Pole, crossed into the oncoming southbound lane when
McKay is believed to have lost control of the vehicle on a curve.
McKay's vehicle struck head-on a southbound 1976 AMC sedan driven by
James Foster Webb, age 54 of Nenana. Webb was trapped in the vehicle and
died at the scene. McKay, and Webb's passenger, Lenora Pearl Johnson,
age 49 of Nenana, were transported to the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in
separate ambulances. McKay was treated and released. Johnson was
admitted in critical condition Alcohol is not suspected as a factor at
this time, although icy roads and driving too fast for conditions are
considered as factors. Next of kin notifications have been made. The
investigation is continuing.
