The Mission

Last evening, my brother and I were able to attend services that were held out at a member’s house on Chena Hot Springs. We carefully made our way along the wet, winding road to our destination, arriving just a little before 7pm. As other members arrived at the house, the visitors (us) were greeted with a hearty 'Good Evening!' and the not so occasional 'Glad you could make it'. The atmosphere was so light and pleasant! (Reminds me of the time we had in North Carolina at Mission Baptist Church)After opening services with Hymns, the visitors were then to be smothered with hugs and/or handshakes. One member made the comment to the context of " Bet you are not quite used to all of this" but they were met with a warm smile and a pleasant explanation of how the Lord seemed to prepare us for this outgoing atmosphere during our trip south.
The speaker for the night was a younger fellow who was led to teach about the similarities between Joseph (with his coat of many colors) and Jesus. Both men were hated by their brothers, but loved, even upheld to a high position by their fathers. Both men were even sold for pieces of silver. It was a wonderful message. I do believe this is the church for us. Keep us in prayer as we seek Gods will about possibly joining on Sunday.

Wow, all of that in 15 min... Guess it is close enough to get started on work.

With a joy in my heart...

Dear Kody,
Congradulations on having peace. I can read this note and tell that you have complete peace about your decision. I hope that you do have this peace that I can sense in your letter. Hope all goes well and know my prayers are with all of you. God bless and we love you,
