Annoying MS-internet Exploder

Well, If you have visited this blog recently, you will have noticed the bouncing balls tailing the mouse...Just one of the many allowable annoyances in I-explorer. Just last night, I discovered that FireFox does not correctly display these annoyances...allowing for an undesterbed browsing. I personally recommend Firefox for anyone who is tired of seeing the basic iexplorer screen over and over. Check it out! It has many addins for almost any function....Including useful tools for Blogs and RSS(and compatable) feeds. Try it out, and leave the "dark side".....Free yourself from the microscoff browzer......

Well, as most of you know..the semester is coming to an end. As the summer progresses, this particular blog may cease to be updated....at least until the Fall semester begins. Even then I am not sure if it will conitnue. But for now, I will primarly be useing the Alaska Ham Reference Blog to finish up the school year.
Take care.

What a way to begin the week!

WOW...Just the other day my supervisor allowed me to begin working full time again..... Little did I know that this was going to be a bigger problem than I thought. Now I finish work at 5Pm and dash to my 6Pm class.....no time to think....eat....or much else. Unfornitually this means that my ham radio site will develop slower.... No worries, just means I will have to leave work a little earlier so I can have a little time to develop the site. Untill then, have a great week and please check the new page often for updates.

Within the next few days, I hope to include resources explaining Ham radio and how to become an operator. Please keep checking in, and feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed. Either you will learn more about Ham radio, or become completely bamboosled by the language.. Either way, your support is appreciated.

Well, now the time for final projects has come..and also time to submit a proposal for the final project.

I am proposing a Ham Radio Resource site. There are just a few sites on Ham Radio. My site would be Alaska Ham radio, and will be mostly a reference guide and link to delicious and Alaska Wicki city (hosted by DougN). I will be starting a new blog site to change the URL and Title.. The location information will be posted here after my teachers approval.

Eight ball

I guess this is to complete part one of my homework. Enjoy.

Spring is on the way!!!

WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!! The temperatures reached 45F, just like yesterday, the skies are blue, and the snow is disappearing fast... almost to fast.

Enoughf of that. Today I would like to point you to a very graphic website.. Please understand that this site does NOT have any inapproate images but has a host of 3D images the author created. The images range anywhere from SIFI to real life. These images are a real piece of art! And if you like the image enough, you are allowed to download a copy for your desktop. SLOW DOWN!!!

I don't believe it... People will not Slow down! Even though the roads seem good, there have still been numerous motor vehicle accidents during the past few days. Why... just on Sunday, there was another poor soul killed due to the recklessness of a North Pole teen. I have supplied the Alaska State Trooper Report from their News Release page:
Location: Nenana
Case number: 05-24710
Type: MVA-Fatal
Text: On Sunday, April 3, 2005 at 1817 hours the Nenana Fire Department
reported a 2 vehicle collision on the Parks Highway at milepost 317, and
responded with their EMS personnel. A trooper from the Nenana Post, and
2 ABWE troopers and a sergeant responded from Fairbanks. Investigation
shows that a northbound 2002 Hyundai SUV driven by Kenneth Shad McKay,
age 18 of North Pole, crossed into the oncoming southbound lane when
McKay is believed to have lost control of the vehicle on a curve.
McKay's vehicle struck head-on a southbound 1976 AMC sedan driven by
James Foster Webb, age 54 of Nenana. Webb was trapped in the vehicle and
died at the scene. McKay, and Webb's passenger, Lenora Pearl Johnson,
age 49 of Nenana, were transported to the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in
separate ambulances. McKay was treated and released. Johnson was
admitted in critical condition Alcohol is not suspected as a factor at
this time, although icy roads and driving too fast for conditions are
considered as factors. Next of kin notifications have been made. The
investigation is continuing.
